A graduate of the famous improv and sketch program The Groundlings, the comedian has been seen in a number of notable projects, including Big Little Lies, Young Sheldon and Go On. Her appearance on Louie in 2014’s “So Did the Fat Lady” earned a number of particularly positive reviews, including a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series.
Nancy Travis (Lisa)
Nancy Travis plays Lisa, a recent divorcée who starts the series as one of Sandy’s students before becoming his love interest. Starting her career on the stage, her breakout role came with Three Men and a Baby and its sequel Three Men and a Little Lady. After that, she starred on a number of TV shows, including Almost Perfect, Becker and most notably as Tim Allen’s wife on the long-running Last Man Standing.
Kathleen Turner (Roz Volander)
In seasons 1-2, Kathleen Turner appeared in a guest role as Michael Douglas’ ex-wife Roz Volander. For season 3, the highly skilled doctor joins the cast as a series regular. Roz comes to LA to spend time with their daughter Mindy. Turner and Douglas starred together in several classic movies, including Romancing The Stone, Jewel of the Nile and War of the Roses.
