How does The Challenge: USA work?
Each episode of The Challenge: USA consists of two challenges. Before anything happens, the contestants are put into co-ed randomly generated pairs via an “algorithm.” They then compete in a daily challenge, with one pair winning. That pair is safe from elimination, and wins money to go towards their individual bank accounts. The pair that finishes in last place in the daily challenge is automatically up for elimination. The winning pair then picks any other team to compete against them. The two teams square off in an elimination challenge, where the winners survive and take the money from the losing team’s bank accounts.
