Presumably, Harry (Alan Tudyk) doesn’t end up destroying the earth by the end of the first season and we’ll get to see more of Harry learning to be human and his bromance with Max (Judah Prehn) grow as the two frenemies start to work together. The Syfy series stars Alan Tudyk as an alien who has crash landed on earth with the intent to destroy all humankind. Taking on a human form to stay inconspicuous, Harry tries to remain secluded until he can fix his ship, but is instead roped into solving a local murder. Series also stars Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Elizabeth Bowen and Gary Farmer. “With Resident Alien, everything just came together in perfect harmony—a script by Chris Sheridan that leapt off the page, a lead performance by Alan Tudyk, whose nuance between comedy and menace was pitch perfect, and a team of producers, cast and crew who were all striving to do something great,” said Lisa Katz, president of scripted content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “The appeal of this show transcended the sci-fi genre in a way that enabled us to bring in a broader audience, and as the series continues we hope to encourage more and more fans to discover Harry’s very particular perspective on humans.” New episodes of Resident Alien air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on SYFY with current episodes available to stream at syfy.com, via the SYFY OneApp or on Peacock TV.
