The beloved sandwich, filled with boneless pork covered in tangy barbecue sauce, onions, and pickles and served on a homestyle bun, has returned for a limited time as part of the “McRib Farewell Tour,” the fast food chain announced in a description on their website. Fans have a chance to grab a McRib from now until Nov. 20. “Enjoy our famous pork sandwich as if it’s your last,” the chain noted. The McRib first hit the menu back in 1981 at a McDonald’s location in Kansas City, Kansas, but initially flopped due to the hype over the chain’s Chicken McNuggets, which were released three years earlier. The sandwich later made a return in 1994 to promote the live-action Flintstones film, starring John Goodman and Rosie O’Donnell, and stayed on the menu up until the early 2000s.After being taken off the menu in 2005 for another “McRib Farewell Tour,” it made temporary returns in the three years following, in addition to 2012, 2020, and last November 2021 for its 40th anniversary, much to the delight of fans. So how can you get your hands on the tasty McRib? Fans can use the McRib Locator to track down the nearest McDonalds featuring the delicious sandwich on the menu. All you have to do is go to the website, type in your address and check to see if the McRib is being sold at a location near you. Fans can also call their nearest McDonald’s before arriving to ensure that they can get their hands on the sandwich. Make sure to download the McDonald’s App to order the 2022 McRib for delivery or pick up before the tangy goodness is no longer available! PAUL J. RICHARDS/Getty Images More News:
