While performing at Radio City Music Hall for The Heart First Tour, Ballerini was wearing jeans that unfortunately, had the front zipper undone. Ever so helpful, her fans in the front row screamed to let her know, and though it took her a minute, she figured it out and zipped them back up. But clearly, Ballerini remains a little embarrassed by the whole ordeal, as she personally reacted to a video of the event on social media. Ballerini posted a side-by-side video of the original on-stage incident with her reaction. At the start of the original video, Ballerini can be seen taking a break from singing, as fans can be heard yelling, “Kelsea! Your zipper!” But she doesn’t hear exactly what they’re saying. After singing a few lines of her song, she eventually reaches down and realizes what’s wrong, zipping up and trying to hold in any embarrassment to continue performing. In her reaction video, dueted to the original clip, Ballerini is curled up and looking down. As it goes on, she says, “It’s the fact that I thought they were screaming for the song, for me. It’s the fact that I was serving moves for me.” As Ballerini in the original video feels her undone zipper, her eyes get wide, and present-day Ballerini’s eyes do the same. The 29-year-old takes a moment and then jokingly says, “I’m retiring. It’s been a good few years. Thanks guys, see ya around.” The singer captioned the post, “happy cringey monday this is my retirement announcement #zippergate 🫣.” Luckily, she took the embarrassing moment in stride, and her fans seemed to like her even more for it. Photographer Catherine Powell commented, “The quick change gods said ‘you’re getting too good at this, have a dash of oops.’” A fan also said, “your realness and relatability are part of what make you so incredibly love able 🥰but….yeah, this is funny 😂.” More News:
