The ex NFL star, 39, responded to The Hills alum’s comments, calling it “comical” that she is still talking about their relationship over two years after it ended. “I’ve kind of steered clear of all that,” Cutler first said about the drama with his ex while talking to Sofia Franklin on the “Sofia with an F” podcast, per Page Six. “If she wants to say stuff, she can say stuff. I’m not going to go down that road about her,” he continued. “I mean she’s still the mother of my kids.” Cutler and Cavallari—who tied the knot in 2013—were married for seven years, during which they welcomed three children: Camden, 10, Jaxon, 8 and Saylor, 6. They announced their split in 2020. The Laguna Beach alum was recently featured on the August 3 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where she labeled her marriage with Cutler as “an unhealthy relationship.” “I didn’t want my kids thinking that was normal and I wanted them to see me happy,” she said at the time, as Parade reported. But Cutler seemed unamused by his ex’s statements, telling Franklin, “I also don’t understand. It’s two and a half years [since the marriage ended]. Why are we having these conversations?” Although the Uncommon James founder made headlines for her comments about Cutler, she admitted during the podcast that she is “very careful” about what she says about Cutler publicly because her oldest child sometimes “googles” his parents. Nonetheless, Cavallari still wished Cutler the best, saying, “I want him to be happy. My kids benefit from that you know. So I hope that he gets remarried.” More Entertainment:
