The books follow the Mayfair family through hundreds of years and several generations of their interactions with Lasher. Executive producer Esta Spalding says that Season 1 of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches will cover the first book of The Lives of the Mayfair Witches trilogy, The Witching Hour, released in 1990.
