Last we saw, judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara had come together at Simon Cowell’s home in Malibu to go through the elimination process. They needed to select 30 acts to put through to accompany the six Golden Buzzers that automatically made it to the Live Shows. They did their job, but now there is a twist. With the exit of Nightbirde, Simon’s Golden Buzzer, from the competition to battle her cancer as her health has taken a turn for the worse, viewers will have the chance to vote on one of five acts to fill that final spot. AGT: America’s Wildcard, a one-hour special will stream exclusively on Peacock beginning Tuesday, Aug. 10, and viewers will be able to vote via Twitter from Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. ET until Friday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. ET. The winner will perform on the live show on Tuesday, Aug. 24.
